Islamic Dream Interpretation of Seeing Adultery, Divorce, Jealousy, and Intimate Acts in Dreams
Interpretation of Intercourse with a Prostitute in a Dream:
Dreaming of intercourse with a prostitute signifies acquiring unlawful wealth.
If the dreamer is a pious person, the dream indicates that they will acquire knowledge.
Dreaming of engaging in sodomy with a woman symbolizes performing a task incorrectly, which will not be completed successfully. Some interpreters hold this view, but I disagree. In my opinion, the success or failure of the task in such a dream depends on whether ejaculation occurs during sodomy.
Committing bestiality in a dream signifies treating an ungrateful person with kindness.
If someone dreams of engaging in bestiality with a wild animal, it indicates that they will dominate their enemy.
Conversely, if the wild animal is the one engaging in the act with the dreamer, it suggests that the enemy will overpower them.
If a person sees an animal engaging in bestiality with them, they will acquire great wealth, especially if they see a donkey performing the act.
Caliph Abdul Malik bin Marwan once dreamt that a donkey engaged in bestiality with him, causing him great distress. Later, he ascended to the throne. This is because, in dream interpretation, a donkey symbolizes a person’s fate, while the dreamer represents their need. When a person’s fate aligns with their needs, their destiny shines bright.
Interpretation of Pre-Intimacy Acts in a Dream:
Acts such as touching or kissing before intimacy in a dream symbolize the fulfillment of desires.
If someone dreams of engaging in intimacy with their slave or concubine, it indicates an increase in their wealth.
However, if a slave is seen engaging in bestiality with their owner, it signifies that the slave does not respect their master.
Interpretation of Divorce in a Dream:
Dreaming of divorce symbolizes the dismissal of an official or separation from a ruler, as some women, like kings, can be deceitful.
Divorce in a dream can also signify financial prosperity, as supported by the Quranic verse:
“And if they separate, Allah will enrich them both out of His bounty.”
(Surah An-Nisa: 130)
Jealousy in a dream represents greed.
If someone sees themselves as jealous in a dream, it means they are a very greedy person.
Purchasing a slave girl in a dream indicates business and trade.
If someone dreams that the slave girl they purchased has died, it means they will suffer a significant loss in their business.
Adultery in a dream symbolizes betrayal, just as betrayal in a dream symbolizes adultery.
Sometimes, seeing adultery in a dream signifies a wealthy person who spends their money freely.
If someone dreams of committing adultery and being punished for it, it means that if they are capable of seeking knowledge, they will pursue it.
If the dreamer is a ruler or governor, it signifies that their rule will become even more stable and strong.
According to Imam Shihab al-Din Qirani:
If men or women are seen engaging in homosexuality or lesbianism in a dream, it indicates that the dreamer is doing good for someone from whom they expect a return.
Some dream interpreters believe that engaging in homosexuality in a dream signifies overcoming an enemy, as the boy in the dream symbolizes the enemy.
Other scholars suggest that such a dream means the dreamer will suffer poverty and lose all their wealth due to an enemy.
