Islamic Dream Interpretation of Exile, Farewell, and Making Peace
Interpretation of Exile in a Dream
Being exiled in a dream signifies relief from sorrow and distress. This is supported by the Quranic verse:
“Expel the family of Lot from your city.”
(Surah An-Naml 27:56)
Exile in a dream symbolizes deliverance for the dreamer, especially if they are in a state of sorrow in real life.
If the dreamer is in a state of happiness and contentment, being exiled in the dream indicates misfortune and separation from loved ones. This interpretation is also supported by the Quran, where exile is mentioned alongside death:
“And We decreed for them that they should kill themselves or leave their homes.”
(Surah An-Nisa 66)
Interpretation of Saying Goodbye in a Dream
If someone dreams of saying goodbye to people who have been away for a long time, it suggests that these people will return, as the word “goodbye” (وداع) when reversed forms the word “returned” (عادوا).
Interpretation of Making Peace in a Dream
Making peace in a dream symbolizes goodness, as Allah says:
“And reconciliation is better.”
(Surah An-Nisa 128)
Dreaming of making peace suggests that the dreamer promotes goodness and righteousness.
If the dreamer refuses to make peace in the dream, it indicates that they are preventing others from doing good deeds.
