Islamic Dream Interpretation of Wrestling and Casting Lots
Interpretation of Defeat in a Dream:
If the dream shows the defeat of disbelievers, it represents their actual defeat because Allah says:
“And He cast terror into their hearts.” (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:26)
If Muslims appear defeated in a dream, it indicates their impending victory. This is supported by the Quranic verse:
“And after their defeat, they will soon overcome.“ (Surah Ar-Rum 30:2)
If someone sees just and fair armies entering a country in defeat, it means they will gain victory in battle. However, if the dream is about an oppressive army, it indicates that Allah’s wrath will descend upon them. This interpretation is supported by the Quranic verse:
“There, [their] defeated troops will be put to flight among the companies [of disbelievers].” (Surah Sad 38:11)
