In dreams, the navel symbolizes the dreamer’s wife and special qualities. The beauty or ugliness of the navel in a dream affects the qualities of the woman or the specific traits it represents.
Interpretation of the Male Genitalia in Dreams:
Dreaming of the male genitalia is a symbol of fame, reputation, children, wife, wealth, livelihood, honor, and a prosperous life. If someone dreams that his genitalia has grown longer but not excessively so, or has become thicker, erect, or beautiful, and is hidden from people’s view, this signifies an increase in the dreamer’s respect and greatness, or the birth of a son. If the dreamer is ill, this indicates recovery; if poor, it means prosperity. If someone is in difficulty, dreaming of the male genitalia signifies the end of his troubles, as the state of the genitalia often indicates mental calmness and relief from worry.
If the genitalia is cut off in a dream, it has the opposite meaning, indicating a negative turn of events. If someone dreams that their genitalia is cut off and remains inside a woman’s genitalia, it suggests that the woman will become pregnant by him or she will acquire his wealth or his son.
If the dreamer drinks something that symbolizes goodness or benefits from their genitalia, it indicates that they will gain something positive from it. On the other hand, drinking harmful substances from it indicates harm. Eating the male genitalia in a dream is similar to eating the breast, indicating a problematic situation.
If someone dreams of another body part growing from the genitalia, or a plant, hair, or tree sprouting from it, this symbolizes the arrival of children, wealth, and various benefits. If the growths harm the genitalia, it suggests impending difficulties.
A dream where the genitalia becomes excessively long signifies an upcoming difficulty. If the dreamer pulls on their genitalia or removes part of it and replaces it, it indicates the death of their child, followed by the birth of another or the loss and subsequent recovery of their wealth.
If someone dreams of tying their genitalia, this suggests that life will become difficult for them. If the genitalia enters their abdomen in the dream, it signifies that they will hide testimony, as Allah says in the Quran: “And they will say to their skins, ‘Why have you testified against us?’” (Surah Haamim As-Sajdah 41:21). Here, “skins” refer to private parts, and this indicates hiding something.
If a pregnant woman dreams of male genitalia, it suggests that she will give birth to a child who will manage the household and become the leader of the family. If a woman who is not pregnant has this dream, it suggests that she will either be unable to have children or her child will pass away.
For a woman to see male genitalia in her dream can sometimes indicate her husband’s honor and importance. If the male genitalia turns into a woman’s private part, it signifies strength turning to weakness, while the transformation of a woman’s private part into male genitalia indicates deformity.
One person mentioned to Imam Shihab al-Din Qaraafi, “I dreamt that my genitalia was new and erect, but I couldn’t engage in intercourse.” He replied, “You will suffer a stroke, or your son will fall ill.” Another person told the Imam, “I dreamt that a building was being erected on my genitalia.” The Imam replied, “Your son will die, and a building will be built over his grave.”
One person reported to the Imam: “I dreamt that my genitalia was drinking animal blood.” He replied, “You had relations with a menstruating woman or an animal.” Another individual described a dream where his genitalia was covered in blood from a forbidden source. The Imam said, “A surgeon is committing an indecent act with you and paying you for it. Repent from this sin.” A person also shared with the Imam: “I dreamt that I was hungry and ate my genitalia.” The Imam replied, “You became so needy that you sold even your last possession.”
Another person reported the same dream and was told, “You sold your son and benefited from the price.” One more person told the Imam, “I dreamt that my genitalia was in my hand, and I was building canals.” The Imam said, “You are providing beneficial services to people.” Another person reported that his genitalia was covered in blood. The Imam said, “You are lustful and engage in adultery frequently.”
Someone else dreamt that they had several genitalia, and people were frightened of them. The Imam explained, “You are playing with snakes.” Another person told the Imam, “I dreamt that my genitalia was lost.” The Imam said, “Your valuable pen will be lost.” A doctor of eyes who saw the same dream was told, “Your kohl applicator will be lost.”
A soldier had the same dream and was told, “Your spear will be lost.” Another soldier reported the dream, and the Imam responded, “Your club will be lost.” A blood-letter also reported the same dream, and the Imam said, “Your lancet will be lost.” Another soldier had the same dream, and the Imam said, “Your stick will be lost.”
