The Meaning of Slaughtering Animals in Dreams
Animals are slaughtered for three purposes:
To eat their meat
For sacrifice
Without any specific reason
If someone sees in a dream that they have slaughtered an animal for eating or feeding others, it is a symbol of goodness and benefit.
If the one slaughtering the animal is the ruler of the city, it indicates that his people will receive benefits from him.
If someone sees that they have slaughtered an animal at a place other than the sacrifice location, or they have slaughtered an animal that is forbidden to eat and fed it to others, it is a sign of unlawful wealth.
If the one slaughtering the animal is a judge, it means they will make incorrect decisions.
If the one slaughtering the animal is a trader, their economy will be stable, but they will earn illicit wealth.
If someone dreams that they slaughtered an animal for sacrifice, it is a sign of happiness, relief from difficulties, and recovery from illnesses. This dream also signifies elevation, success, and benefit for the person.
If someone dreams they have slaughtered an animal in a place where sacrifice is not appropriate, and the place becomes drenched in blood, it is a sign that troubles and calamities will strike that place. The person the animal represents (such as a judge or ruler) may die in that place. If the animal is male, it signifies the death of a man, otherwise, a woman.
If it is unclear whether the animal is male or female, it indicates the death of someone who brings benefit to others.
If someone dreams that they have slaughtered an animal without any specific reason, it is a sign that some kind of disaster or trouble will befall the person represented by the animal. As mentioned earlier, if someone dreams of slaughtering a ram for a reason other than eating, it signifies that the dreamer will kill a distinguished person or a powerful enemy.
If someone dreams of slaughtering a chicken, it means they will commit zina (fornication) with an unmarried woman. One person mentioned that they saw in their dream that they were slaughtering birds. You told him: “You are a butcher and are facing loss in your profession.” He replied: “You are correct.”
Another person told you that he saw in his dream that he had an unknown animal, which was in very poor condition and emitting a bad odour. He slaughtered it from the back, and the place became filled with blood. You told him: “You opened a canal that was closed, causing the area to become cramped.” He said: “You are correct.”
