Interpretation of Trousers in Dreams

The interpretation of trousers in dreams is similar to that of other garments.

Shaykh Imam Shihab al-Din Qarafi explained:
Trousers symbolize domestic animals and women because one metaphorically “rides” trousers. Additionally, they point to a person privy to secrets, as trousers conceal one’s private parts.

Examples of Dream Interpretations

1. Trousers Sewn with a Cap:
   A man told Shaykh Imam Qarafi that he dreamt of sewing his trousers together with his cap. The Shaykh interpreted:
   “You have married your maidservant to your father, and now they are not getting along. Both are blaming you.”

2. Trousers Sewn Together with Another Pair:
   Another man said he dreamt of sewing two pairs of trousers together so that they appeared as one. Shaykh Qarafi said:
   “You have married your maidservant to your servant, and they are living together in harmony.”

3. Receiving Trousers from a King:
   A man narrated a dream where the king sent him a pair of trousers. Shaykh Qarafi interpreted:
   “The king will grant you a position of authority.”
   
   

Clothing in Different Seasons:

• Wearing Winter Clothes in Summer:
  If someone dreams of wearing winter clothes in summer, it foretells a forthcoming hardship.

• Wearing Winter Clothes in Winter:
  This signifies benefits and advantages.

• Wearing Winter Clothes Due to Illness:
  Such a dream indicates relief and comfort.

• Wearing Summer Clothes in Summer:
  This points to goodness and well-being. If the dreamer is ill with a fever, the dream signifies recovery.

• Wearing Summer Clothes in Winter:
  This signifies the opposite of comfort and benefit.

Other Situational Interpretations:

1. Feeling Hot in Winter:
   If someone dreams of feeling intense heat in winter while wearing fur, sitting near fire, or basking in the sun, Shaykh Qarafi stated:
   “The dreamer will face an illness or hardship lasting until winter.”

2. Bathing in Cold Water During Winter:
   If someone dreams of bathing in cold water during winter and wearing thin clothes, it symbolizes:
   “They will face illness or hardship during winter, possibly due to extreme cold.”

3. Changing into Comfortable Clothes in Summer:
   If someone dreams of changing into appropriate clothing during summer or bathing, it suggests comfort and peace in the summer season.

Falling in Mud During Rain:
A man told me that he dreamt of falling into muddy water during rain. I interpreted it as: “You will face illness or hardship during winter.”
