Interpretation of Birds in Dreams

  • Bhatt (bird):

    Dreaming of owning a bhatt (a type of bird) signifies wealth and prosperity.


  • Chiriya :

    Seeing a chiriya (sparrow) in a dream indicates acquiring wealth, property, children, or slaves. The abundance or scarcity of these birds represents the abundance or scarcity of these things. Sometimes, a chiriya can symbolize a wicked or immoral person. A beautiful chiriya in a dream represents a lovely woman.
    Eating the meat of a chiriya indicates wealth and kingship. If a pregnant woman dreams of a chiriya, it signifies the birth of a son.
    One individual mentioned to Imam Ibn Sirin that he dreamt of catching chiriya, cutting their feathers, and putting them in a bag. Imam Ibn Sirin interpreted this as the person being a teacher who plays with children.


    Titar:

  • The titar (partridge) seen in a dream symbolizes a servant. Some interpreters believe it may represent an Iranian woman.

    Sarhaq:

    Anqa:

    parrot :

    hoopoe:

    crow:

    Dreaming of a crow or an owl indicates strife, ruin, and a person who spreads malicious words in society. Seeing a crow in the house suggests discord within the family. Personally, the dreamer may have experienced this.
