Islamic Dream Interpretation of Fainting, Sleep, Price Fluctuations, and Changes in Taste

Interpretation of Fainting and Sleep in a Dream:

Fainting and falling asleep in a dream are signs of relief and the removal of distress. It also symbolizes obstacles in the journey of a traveler, hindrances in the worship of a devout person, and hardships faced by a watchman.

If a frightened person dreams that they have fainted or are sleeping, it indicates that they will be free from their fears and find security.

Imam Shahabuddin Quraifi said: “The reason why sleep in dreams represents comfort and ease is because sleep brings relaxation to the body, while it represents a journey because during sleep, the soul temporarily departs and returns.”

Interpretation of Price Fluctuations in a Dream

If someone dreams that grain is being trampled by the hooves of animals, people are walking on it, or it is lying on the road, it symbolizes the humiliation of grain. This reflects a fall in its prices.

If someone sees grain being carried by animals or laborers, it indicates a rise in its prices.

If someone sees grain on rooftops or tall buildings, it is a sign that prices will rise even more.

If someone dreams of a war between the king and the people, it signifies a decrease in the price of grain.

If people are fighting among themselves in the dream, it indicates that the price of grain will rise.

Green ears of corn, fat cows, and heavy rainfall in a dream represent prosperity, while dry ears of corn and weak cows indicate signs of inflation.

Interpretation of Changes in Taste

Imam Shahabuddin Quraifi said, “The transformation of sour things into sweet and the improvement of bad things (in dreams) indicates safety from fears, the attainment of sustenance, and unexpected comfort and ease. Furthermore, the change of sour things into sweet signifies the correction of a corrupt person, the emergence of new opportunities, and the end of troubles.”

As for sweet things turning sour or spoiling, the interpretation is the opposite of the above outcomes.
