Islamic Dream Interpretation – Meaning of Seeing a Mouth in Dreams

    Interpretation of Seeing Mouth in a Dream:

    Seeing the mouth in a dream symbolizes the beginning and end of a person’s actions.

    • Something Coming Out of the Mouth:

      If someone sees something coming out of their mouth in a dream, it signifies words or speech.


      • If the object is good, the speech will be positive.
      • If the object is bad, the speech will be negative.

    • Something Going Into the Mouth:

      If something enters the mouth in a dream, it signifies sustenance.

      If the object is good, the sustenance is lawful.

      • If the object is bad, the sustenance is unlawful.
    • Mouth Being Sealed or Locked:
       If someone sees their mouth sealed or locked in a dream, it indicates disbelief, as Allah says:
       “Today We will seal their mouths” (Surah Yaseen, 36:65).
      However, according to the dream interpreter, this interpretation applies only when the dreamer’s outward appearance suggests immorality.
       Otherwise, it may signify prolonged silence or observing a fast.

    A Unique Dream:

    A man saw in a dream that he had a seal in his hand, and he was sealing the mouths of men and the private parts of women.
     The interpreter explained:
     “You call the adhan (call to prayer) during Ramadan. When you give the Fajr adhan, it is as though you are preventing people from eating and engaging in marital relations.”

    Interpretation of Hair Growing in the Mouth:

    • If hair grows in the mouth in a dream, it signifies that the dreamer is a poet, provided it causes no harm.
    • If the hair is harmful, it indicates a problem or defect in the mouth, similar to how the growth of hair in the eye signifies an issue in the eye.

    A Preacher’s Dream:

    A preacher once dreamt that he had lost the sense of taste in his mouth.
     Imam Qarani explained:
     “The eloquence and sweetness of your speech have diminished.”

    Interpretation of Seeing Lips in a Dream:

    In a dream, lips symbolize two individuals who are the dreamer’s closest companions.
     The lower lip is interpreted as stronger and more significant than the upper lip.
