Interpretation of Urination and Defecation in Dreams:

Seeing urination and defecation in a dream symbolizes relief, ease, and blessings. If a person dreams of excessive urination or defecation, or finds it on their body with an unbearable stench, or they are seen in such a condition by others while being a respectable individual not prone to public indecency, this dream indicates misfortune and disgrace. Such scenes are naturally repelling to people.

Imam Shihab al-Din Qarafi stated that the interpretation of urination is lighter than that of defecation. Some people urinate on pathways without hesitation, but only those entirely devoid of modesty engage in defecation there. The general rule in dream interpretation regarding urination and defecation is that they signify forbidden wealth.

   • If a traveler dreams of excessive defecation, it suggests that their journey will remain incomplete.
   • If a resident sees this, it implies punishment by the ruler.

2. Urination in a Toilet:

   Indicates indulgence in pleasures and spending wealth for desires.

3. Urination in an Unknown Place:

   • Symbolizes spending forbidden wealth voluntarily without any benefit or praise.
   • Sometimes, such dreams suggest the resolution of an unfinished task, as people say, “I’m going to relieve myself,” when heading to the bathroom.

4. Urination on Clothes or Body:

   • Indicates adultery.

5. Urination in Pants:

   Suggests anger towards one’s spouse.

6. Urination and Covering with Soil:

   Indicates burying wealth in that place.

7. Defecation on a Bed:

   Symbolizes illness, as only severely sick individuals are unable to visit the toilet.

8. Excessive Urination in a Single Spot:

   • For a rich person, it indicates financial loss.
   • For a poor individual, it suggests happiness or good news.

9. Sharing Urination with Another Person:

   • Indicates a meeting between the two individuals.

10. Urination in an Unknown Place:

    Suggests marriage with a woman from that area.

11. Urination on Trade Goods:

    Implies loss in trade.

12. Urination in a Mosque Niche:

    Indicates the birth of a son who will become a ruler or scholar.

Example: Marwan bin Hakam once dreamed of urinating four times in a mosque niche. Imam Sa’id bin Musayyib interpreted it as a sign that four kings would emerge from his lineage.

   Suggests the dreamer’s son will grow up to be a scholar followed by others.

3. Another Person Urinating on the Dreamer:

   Indicates that the urinating individual will spend heavily on the dreamer and subordinate them.

4. Woman Urinating Excessively:

   Indicates a desire for a man.

5. Urinating Milk:

   Suggests wasting one’s natural disposition.

6. Urinating Blood:

   Indicates intercourse with a menstruating woman or, for a pregnant woman, hints at miscarriage.

7. Burning or Pain from Blood Urination:

   Indicates unknowingly committing incest or forbidden relations.

8. Urinating Saffron-colored Liquid:

   Suggests a weak or sickly child.

9. Urinating Dirt or Mud:

   • Indicates improper or incomplete ablution.
   • Suggests scrotal pain in some interpretations.

10. Fire from Urination:
    Indicates a son with great strength.

11. Excretion through the Urinary Tract:

    Indicates improper relations with one’s spouse.

    Suggests the birth of an illegitimate child.

    Indicates a son with characteristics of that animal.

   Suggests becoming a physician and earning a livelihood by examining urine.

   Indicates relief from burdensome relationships or overcoming an illness.
