Islamic Dream Interpretation of Vomiting :

If a sick person, for whom vomiting is beneficial, sees themselves vomiting in a dream, it indicates recovery and relief. However, if vomiting does not benefit the sick person, it signifies that the illness will persist, possibly leading to death.

Vomiting in a dream also symbolizes returning rights to their owners, fulfilling trusts, revealing hidden matters, breaking a fast, or the loss of wealth.

If the dreamer sees that they are vomiting willingly, it means the loss of wealth will ultimately prove beneficial. On the other hand, if they vomit in an inappropriate place, such as in front of people, on clothes, or on carpets, it signifies that the wealth will be spent on penalties or the disclosure of secrets.

Some interpreters say that if someone sees their intestines coming out of their mouth while vomiting in a dream, it indicates that members of their family will pass away.

A person once told the esteemed scholar Imam Shihabuddin al-Qarafi that they saw themselves vomiting all their intestines in a dream. Imam Qarafi interpreted this as a sign that everything necessary in their household would disappear.

A king shared a similar dream with the Imam, who interpreted it to mean that the king would release several prisoners.

Another person told the respected scholar that in a dream, they went to an unknown individual who vomited on them, staining their clothes. The scholar replied, “Sewage water will fall on you, and your clothes will get soiled.”

Someone informed the Shaykh that they saw themselves vomiting uncontrollably in a dream. He said: “You will learn of a dangerous secret.”

A prominent person once dreamt of making others vomit. When he narrated this dream to Imam Qarafi, the Imam said: “You will try to uncover hidden treasures.”
