Islamic Dream Interpretation of Praying, Seeking Forgiveness, and Glorifying Allah in a Dream
Dreaming of praying, seeking forgiveness, or glorifying Allah indicates success, victory, relief from calamities, elevation in status, wealth for the poor, and fulfillment of needs. Allah says:
“Call upon Me; I will respond to you”
(Surah Al-Mu’min, 40:60)
Sometimes, praying in a dream signals the removal of an unexpected hardship. This is supported by the Quranic verse:
“But why did they not, when Our punishment came to them, humble themselves?”
(Surah Al-An’am, 6:43)
Dreaming of praying can also symbolize healing, as prayer is considered a means to recovery.
In some cases, praying quietly in a dream signifies the birth of a child, as indicated by the story of Prophet Zakariya (peace be upon him).
If someone dreams of praying in total darkness, it signifies relief from grief, as proven by the story of Prophet Yunus (peace be upon him).
Dreaming of frequently remembering Allah signifies victory, as Allah states:
