Interpretation of Seeing a Python in a Dream

A python seen in a dream symbolizes a great and powerful person.

If someone dreams of eating python meat, it means they will attain authority over a kingdom and acquire abundant wealth and riches.

If a person dreams of becoming a python themselves, it signifies that they will have a long life and will gain rulership or a significant position of authority.

If a person sees a python in their dream but does not feel fear, it indicates an increase in strength and power, and they will overcome their enemies. This is supported by the verse from the Qur’an:

فَالْقَى عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تُعْبَانٌ مُّبِينٌ (الأعراف 7: 107)
“So he threw his staff, and it became a manifest serpent.”

Interpretation of Seeing a Scorpion in a Dream

A scorpion seen in a dream symbolizes a backbiter or someone who spreads rumours.

If someone dreams of a scorpion being burned in the fire and dying, it means their enemy will perish.
If a person sees themselves throwing a scorpion at a woman in a dream, it indicates that they may commit an immoral act with that woman.
If a scorpion enters someone’s trousers in a dream, it signifies that they may lose the ability to enjoy life’s pleasures.
Seeing a scorpion on one’s bed also has a similar interpretation.
If someone dreams of swallowing a scorpion, it indicates they may reveal their secrets to their enemy.
Eating raw scorpion meat in a dream signifies acquiring forbidden wealth from an enemy.
If a person eats cooked scorpion meat in a dream, it indicates that they will receive lawful wealth from their enemy.

Examples of Specific Dreams and Their Interpretations:

A man told the esteemed scholar, Hazrat Qirafi, that he dreamt of riding a scorpion, which then stung him on the back. The scholar explained:
“You must have ridden on a wooden saddle, a camel with a protruding back, or performed prayer on something sharp that caused you pain.”
The man replied, “You are correct.”
Another person shared a dream of being stung on the head by a scorpion. The scholar interpreted it as:
“Someone must have struck you with a stick, club, or spade.”
The man confirmed, “You are right.”
A person reported dreaming of eating a scorpion. The scholar interpreted this as:
“You have sold a camel.”
Another individual described swallowing a snake during the winter in their dream. The scholar said:
“You have a blind person (man or woman) in your life causing you significant distress, as snakes become blind in winter.”
For a similar dream, the scholar elaborated:
“If the snake was eaten during winter, it may represent a poisonous substance you consumed, but it will not harm you.
However, if the dream occurred during summer, there is a risk of harm.”
