Interpretation of Seeing Eagle
The eagle in a dream is typically seen as a symbol of wicked people, such as thieves, criminals, and tyrants.
If a person dreams of owning an eagle or being with it, it suggests that they will have control over the person represented by the eagle, or they may have a son who will possess honour, dignity, and authority. Alternatively, the dreamer may acquire qualities similar to those of the eagle or come into contact with people who possess such traits.
If the eagle causes harm, such as injuring the dreamer or taking their eye, it indicates that the dreamer will face troubles or challenges from a person symbolized by the eagle.
A person who sees the eagle pecking at their eye might face a significant injury, such as a punctured eye, as happened in the example given by Imam Shabedin Qrafi, where the dreamer’s eye was injured by an arrow.
If the dream involves an eagle drinking water from a spring or pool, it may indicate that someone will come to treat a person with an eye condition, helping relieve their discomfort.
If a person dreams of hunting with an eagle and the game caught is halal (permissible), it is a positive sign. It signifies that their needs will be met, they will benefit from trade, and their income will be lawful.
If the game hunted is unlawful, it still indicates that the dreamer’s needs will be met, but their wealth will not be lawful.
If a king dreams that the eagle perched on his hand flies away, leaving behind a single feather or wing, it suggests the loss of his kingdom. Only a small portion of his authority will remain.
If an eagle is seen in the house, it may symbolize the Angel of Death, indicating an impending death.
If an eagle falls on the head, it signifies the dreamer’s death, as the eagle is known for killing its prey with its claws.
Riding an eagle in a dream may indicate a fatal outcome for a rich person, while for the poor, it symbolizes rising to wealth and status.
Vulture’s Presence (Gidh) in Dreams:
If a person dreams of a vulture following them, it signifies the king’s anger, and an officer will be appointed to monitor their actions. This is based on the belief that King Solomon appointed the vulture as a supervisor of other birds.
Riding a Dove in Dreams:
Dreaming of riding a dove that takes the dreamer high into the sky symbolizes an elevation in status and power, similar to the story of Nimrod. However, if the dove carries the dreamer to the sky and does not return, it suggests that the dreamer will fall ill or die. If the dove returns with the dreamer, it indicates a serious illness but not death.
Seeing or eating dove feathers or meat is a sign of wealth and prosperity.
