Interpretation of Seeing a Wolf in Dreams
A wolf seen in a dream symbolizes a tyrant, liar, thief, or bandit.
General Interpretation:
If someone sees a wolf in their dream, it indicates that a thief will enter their home.
If a person sees a wolf transforming into a bull, it is a sign of the thief’s repentance.
Incident Narrated to Shihab al-Din al-Qarafi:
A man narrated: “I saw in my dream that I was stuck in a swamp, unable to free myself despite all my efforts. Then a wolf appeared, grabbed my hand, and pulled me out.”
- Shihab al-Din al-Qarafi interpreted: “You were imprisoned, and you had lost all hope of release. Then a cunning person came, inquired about you, and after hearing your story, helped secure your freedom.”

Imam Shihab al-Din al-Qarafi said, “The wolf seen in a dream represents a lowly and deceitful person, one who dishonours others, as the wolf is often associated with digging graves.”
